Rubik's Cube Lessons

In this first lesson, you will learn the foundational concepts of solving a Rubik's Cube. The class covers the cube's anatomy, basic move notations, and the step-by-step process to build the "Daisy" and the "White Cross".

In this second lesson, you will master the first layer of the Rubik's Cube. The session focuses on proper cube orientation, locating target corner pieces, and repeatedly applying the fundamental four-move sequence to complete the entire first floor with perfect side alignment.

In the third lesson, you will build the second floor of the Rubik's Cube to complete the first two layers. The class introduces the "No-Yellow Rule" for finding correct edge pieces, the "Big T" alignment technique, and the mirror algorithms required to insert edges to the right or left. By the end of this session, the bottom two-thirds of your cube will be completely solved.

In this fourth lesson, you will move to the top layer of the Rubik's Cube to build the Yellow Cross. The class focuses on identifying the three possible yellow edge patterns—the Dot, the L-shape, and the Line—and teaches the "Front-Hand Trigger" algorithm (F R U R' U' F') to correctly orient these pieces without destroying the bottom two layers you have already solved.

In this final graduation lesson, you will cross the finish line and solve the entire Rubik's Cube! We focus on completing the last layer by first positioning the yellow corners into their correct "houses," and then using a special upside-down technique to correctly orient them. By the end of this class, you will hold a 100% solved cube.
